As a mother of two, Kristen understands that breastfeeding comes with many challenges, especially when you are recovering from birth. She aims to make your experience as enjoyable as possible in the comfort of your own home.

 

Our home visits address all your feeding concerns, including bottle feeding and supplementing. Our goal is to create an individual care plan that aligns with your goals and values. We bring all the supplies needed, including a baby scale and pump. Our consultations are around 90 minutes but we often stay longer to ensure we have met all your needs.

What to expect during your initial appointment:

​

• Thorough review of you and your babies medical history, including birth story and interventions.

• Naked weight of your baby.

• Pre and post weighted feeds. (this determines the total intake per feed)

• Breast and nipple assessment.

• Oral anatomy assessment of baby.

• Assessment of latch, position and more.

• Care plan that works for you and your family.

We recommend at least one follow-up appointment to ensure you are feeling confident and that baby is gaining the appropriate weight according to their growth curve.
